Committee Training

 

CMAP offers free training to management committee representatives of local region non profit community services. Training provides the underpinning knowledge to assist committees implement effective management practices within an organisation.

 

Training is held on an individual organisation basis. CMAP will travel to your venue at a date and time that best suits your committee (after hours or weekends included). If your committee wishes to arrange a training session email us at cmapemnc@bigpond.com

Governance: constitution; meeting procedures; agendas and minutes of meetings; management committee roles and responsibilities; NSW Incorporation and Australian Charities & Not for Profits Commission (ACNC) obligations.

 

Financial Management & Interpreting Financial Reports: key elements of accounting reports; accrual versus cash accounting; employee leave provisioning; asset depreciation; interpreting financial reports; liabilities and equity reserves.

 

Sessions are tailored around your organisationís own financial reports to ensure greater relevance and benefit.

 

Effective Leadership: designed to provide a basic understanding of leadership to boost confidence and foster future involvement in a leadership role within community management.
